MATERIAL:

• Manufactured from Potato Starch, an environmentally sustainable material.

STANDARDS:

• Our starch-based products that we manufacture are certified DIN EN13432 (which is the highest certification for composting) ASTM D 6400, DIN EN14995, and ISO 17088. We are the only company in New Zealand with this certification.

INTENDED USES:

• These trays are intended for use in the Healthcare Sector as general-purpose trays. Common uses are in operating theatres for anaesthesia disposables, syringes etc and for the delivery of disposables and drugs to ward patients.

DISPOSAL AFTER USE:

The Earthpac trays are manufactured from compostable modified potato starch and can be disposed of in the following manners;

• Composted with other organic waste (preferred method if requirements are to meet sustainability targets) in;
• Industrial composting facilities.
• Worm farms.
• Domestic type compost bins.
• Transferred to landfill.
• Incinerated.
